Every year the village near us has a week long Scarecrow Festival. Every resident puts out a scarecrow according to a chosen theme. This year’s theme is “Traditional Tales”.
We’ve decided to make a “scarecrow” for the school window. Obviously it had to move and light up!
There are two motors: one for the spider and one for the rain sheet.
The spider hits a switch at the top so I know when it’s reached the top. The rain sheet is on a metal contact so I know when it’s lifted off.
There are 4 neopixels in the top part and everything is hidden under the top panel.
It’s powered by 4 AA batteries and controlled by a waterproof switch in a lunch box that we’re going to squeeze out a window for people to press.
